Puri Maerokoco name is taken from one part of the epic Mahabharata which tells the story about a goddess who wished to have a thousand buildings in one night. The park was inaugurated by Governor Ismail in 1980s. There are 35 pieces of the bridge that shows 35 regions throughout Central Java.

If you drive from the city center – Semarang Simpang Lima – headed to Tugu Muda then straight course, it is not long till you meet a red light and signpost of PRPP in the right way, turn and follow the path, you will be guided by signpost. Puri Maerokoco is open from 08.00 am to 06.00 pm with tickets at an affordable entry IDR 10.000.
